What Chiropractic Care Can Do for You

Chiropractic Care in Eugene ORYou may already know chiropractic care can help alleviate back pain, but you may not be aware of the full extent of benefits you can get from regular visits to Absolute Wellness Center in Eugene, Oregon. Our chiropractic sports physician Dr. Michael Herb offers a wide range of services that can help you receive an equally wide range of benefits for your physical and mental well-being. Alleviating pain may be near the top of the list of what our care can do for you, but it is by no means the only thing.

Naturopathic Medicine

Naturopathic medicine emphasizes prevention, treatment, and optimal health for people of all ages. Naturopathic medicine is safe, gentle, and highly effective, utilizing modern, traditional, scientific, and empirical methods, with emphasis on encouraging the patient’s inherent ability to self-heal, identifying the underlying causes of illness rather than just suppressing symptoms. Dr. Kalli Phillips is our naturopathic physician, working closely with our other physicians and practitioners.

Massage Therapy Part of Several Services Offered

Our physicians work in conjunction with several other health care practitioners, including licensed massage therapists. Massage therapy can play a major role in an overall wellness plan, especially when coupled with chiropractic techniques. With the ability to improve circulation, reduce stress, alleviate pain and promote healing, massage therapy can function as an integral part of a physical rehabilitation plan. It can also stand alone as an effective way to unwind, release tension, soothe sore muscles and alleviate or manage pain.

Acupuncture in Eugene Reduces Pain & Tension

Absolute Wellness Center also has very skilled and licensed acupuncturists on site. Acupuncture is used to reduce pain levels, lower muscular tension, reduce anxiety, and aid the body’s healing process. Acupuncture is effective for a wide variety of health conditions. It is currently used in many different types of medical facilities, including many you have heard of such as the Mayo Clinic, Walter-Reed Medical Center, and Kaiser Permanente.

Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation in Eugene Improves Mobility and Motion

And last but not least, our rehabilitation team is a critical component of many treatment plans, particularly for our athletes. Physical therapy and rehabilitation restores patients to maximum functionality, improving mobility, motion, flexibility, strength. It also helps decrease the likelihood of future injuries. Physical therapy and rehabilitation is customized for each patient regardless of their abilities at the start. Physical therapy and rehabilitation is often a critical part of treatment plans following auto accidents, workplace injuries, sports injuries, surgical procedures, and chronic ailments.
