What to Expect on Your First Visit with a Doctor of Chiropractic

Posted on July 23, 2018

The American Chiropractic Association has offered a great handout on how to choose a Doctor of Chiropractic and what to expect on your first visit. The handout also explains what a chiropractic manipulation entails, and what conditions it frequently treats, such as back pain, neck pain, restricted or reduced joint range of motion, or other pain related to the musculoskeletal system.

To read the handout from the ACA, please Click Here, or watch the following video:

Dr. Michael Herb, DC, DACBSP at Absolute Wellness Center treats a wide variety of conditions, and can also be very helpful as a first step in figuring out what other specialist may be appropriate for your specific injury condition. You may also be interested in learning more about Dr. Herb’s specialty in sports medicine and whether it could benefit you with your recovery from a sports injury. If you’d like to learn more, please give us a call at 541-484-5777.
