Holistic Approach in Eugene to Pain Management & Personal Injury

Health and wellness in EugeneAt Absolute Wellness Center, we are keenly aware of the lengthy suffering, both physical and emotional, that personal injury can inflict. Before becoming a medical practitioner, Dr. Michael Herb served on the front lines of emergency medicine as an EMT, both in the field and hospital ERs. His experiences inspired him to pursue a career as a chiropractic physician. His passion inspired him to further specialize in sports medicine, a particularly fun field in the active and outdoorsy Northwest.

The traditional treatment of personal injury victims often follows the clinical model of physical therapy and prescription medicines. Long-term issues such as chronic pain and pain management may be left unresolved. At Absolute Wellness Center, our first concern is the support and full recovery of our patients. Ours is an evidence-based practice that includes naturopathic medicine, physical rehabilitation, pain management, acupuncture, and massage therapy, as appropriate. Although symptoms form a key part of diagnosis, we first determine the source of your symptoms before recommending treatment. We work to educate our patients about our diagnosis, their treatment options, recommendations and outcomes. We believe that having our patients as partners in their treatment aids healing.

Prompt Treatment of Personal Injury Is Vital

The symptoms of personal injuries can be quite subtle and deceptive, with the full extent of the damage not clear until long after the injury happens. If improperly diagnosed or not treated promptly, personal injuries can result in long-term disability. Soft tissue damage, spinal compression, disc pathology, neuropathology and (often) crash dynamics are all in play when diagnosing personal injuries.Eugene chiropractor for whole body health

We are here as your primary care facility and we will not hesitate to refer our patients to our network of colleagues for further diagnostic support and treatment. However, most personal injuries fall within our range of treatment options, such as chiropractic medicine, sports medicine, naturopathic medicine, physical rehabilitation, conservative pain management, acupuncture, massage therapy, and more.

Prompt diagnosis and treatment is the key to avoiding long term disability from a personal injury. Have you been putting off seeing a physician about a personal injury? Our chiropractic sports physician Dr. Michael Herb and our naturopathic physician Dr. Kalli Phillips can provide the knowledge and guidance you need. Call Absolute Wellness Center in Eugene to schedule an appointment.
