Clinical Team Lead
Bailey is an Oregon native with a strong background in customer service and a perpetually up-beat attitude. She has an Associates Degree of Applied Science in Medical Assisting, and she is also a Licensed Chiropractic Assistant. Bailey has proven herself time and again as the glue that holds our team together, keeping us organized and in good spirits, so she now serves as Clinical Team Lead, too. Bailey sincerely enjoys working with patients, and finds great value in being a part of their recovery process. In her off hours, Bailey is a devoted mom to her two energetic little boys and enjoys active and social weekends with family and friends.
Kelly, a Licensed Chiropractic Assistant, brings to the AWC Team an extensive background in medical assisting, reception, and office management. Kelly assists both Dr. Herb and Dr. Beckerman with patient intake, therapies, and pitching in around our ever-bustling back office. Kelly takes the most joy from working with patients and being part of their healing process, getting to know each patient as a person with unique needs and goals. She aims to assure all questions are answered and that the patient knows their comfort and health outcome are the top priorities. As the mother of four beautiful grown children with kids of their own, Kelly understandably has a very active family and social life. When not at work, Kelly is often hiking the beautiful Eugene-area trails or staying in with friends to watch football. You will be hard-pressed to find another person with a greater love of sloths and other furry creatures.

Whitney is an Oregon native, having grown up on a farm in Florence, OR. She graduated cum laude with a Bachelors of Arts in Sociology and Psychology from the Robert D. Clarks Honors College at the University of Oregon, and then graduated cum laude with a law degree from the Willamette University College of Law in Salem, OR, with special training and certification in Alternative Dispute Resolution. After developing a career in business, finance, and real estate in Portland, OR, she and her husband (Dr. Herb) moved to Eugene to own and operate Absolute Wellness Center. Whitney wears all hats at the clinic, happy to serve as clinic bookkeeper, marketer, IT specialist, legal and business consultant, and office comedian. With Dr. Herb spending most of his day in with patients, Whitney is always happy and available to deal with any questions or concerns that come up. In her off hours, Whitney is very athletic and enjoys spending time with friends, family, and Cleo the Wonder Pug.
Medical Billing Manager
Katie is a true local having lived in Springfield/Eugene her entire life. She brings a fantastic 15+ years of experience in medical and chiropractic billing. She is always happy to make herself available to patients to help them with any and all issues that come up with insurance and billing, ensuring their time can be spent on their health and wellness instead of their insurance company. Katie has a passion for small local businesses. She has a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting and Entrepreneurship from Western Oregon University. Katie is an avid Duck fan who spends her off hours enjoying life with her loving husband and two adorable children.
Medical Receptionist / Chiropractic Assistant
Diana serves as the friendly face of the Absolute Wellness Center team, keeping the chaos at bay in our busy front office, scheduling patients, and keeping us all organized and on track. Diana is a licensed chiropractic assistant, and brings with her over 10 years of medical reception and office management experience. She is also fluent in Spanish, and helps us maintain the highest level of care for our Spanish-speaking patients. In her off hours, Diana loves spending time with her family, volunteering in the local community, and baking.
Medical Billing Specialist / Receptionist
Michele is originally from Washington State but has called Oregon home for over 20 years. She has a Bachelors in Business Administration from the University of Washington and is also a licensed Medical Office Assistant with 12 years of experience, including small clinic management. She is passionate about making sure each patient has a great experience and that they feel comfortable coming to her with any questions that may arise. When not at work, Michele enjoys time with her husband and three children, and is excited to have her three grandsons living close by. She loves hiking to all of the waterfalls that the great Northwest has to offer, and never passes up a chance to try out new local restaurants.
Medical Billing Specialist / Receptionist
After working in banking for a number of years, Amanda found that healthcare is where she truly feels she makes a difference. After obtaining her diploma from the Medical Claims and Billing Program at Pioneer Pacific College here in Eugene, Amanda has gained experience in the local healthcare industry, working both with clinics and our local insurance companies. Amanda understands medical billing through the entire process, and especially how the details matter to ensure patients get the care they need, without the typical stress and confusion that can come with ensuring that care is covered by insurance. Amanda is an active mother of four, spending her free time enjoying movies with her kids, loving on her chihuahua Fiona, and hand-crafting dolls.
Medical Records Specialist / Chiropractic Assistant
Jamie is a Colorado native who turned out to be a perfect fit for the gorgeous Northwest. She received her formal training as a massage therapist, and is also a licensed chiropractic assistant. Jamie brings a much appreciated level of calm and organization to our hectic office. With a warm, gentle smile, Jamie does a great job attending to the little details that keep our team and office running smoothly. In her off hours, Jamie is a true Eugene local, designing and making her own jewelry, enjoying the outdoors, and exploring local eateries.
When not pursing her education, Tamara assists the AWC team in back office tasks to keep us all tidy, organized, and on track. Tamara is an excellent team player, always pitching in to ensure everyone else is having a better day. In her off time, she enjoys school activities, and spending time with friends and family.
The Office Wonder Dog
Cleo is our resident greeter, ensuring every patient gets a warm welcome (whenever she isn’t sleeping on the job). She is currently pursuing a challenging dual career as office comedian and guest star of the clinic Facebook page.
